T-Mobile G1: Over one million

Hirdetés

The first handset running the Android operating system is known as HTC Dream T-Mobile G1 and since its launch it's practically still the only commercially available phone based on Google's OS. The American search engine giant promised a quick rise in popularity for this year, but most of these new handsets are probably coming only later this year. According to the quarterly report of Deutsche Telekom it is clear that G1 has reached sales of one million, even though American T-Mobile didn't have full 3G coverage at the time of the phone's launch. Recently a lot of manufacturers have annnounced that they will be launching an Android handset, but until now none of these have become available.
