Sony Ericsson C300i is coming soon

Another low- to mid-range camera phone's spec sheet has appeared on Sony Ericsson's site. The new phone will bear the name C300, which adapts the manufacturer's new naming scheme. According to this, the newcomer will be a Cyber-Shot phone, with conventional form factor and will be launched in the low- to mid range. Unfortunately the camera's resolution is not yet known, but it's sure that the display will have a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, while Netfront 3.3 web browser will also be included. In the last term Sony Ericsson's expansion has seemed to stop. The company's head claims that the reason for this is that they have neglected cheaper phones, which might prove to be a real business opportunity, thanks to developing countries. This means that we should expect a number of cheap handsets to be launched in the near future, but it's also possible that the development of some phones will be abandoned, as the company would like to launch phones that are better equipped and more attractive for the higher-end.
