Socket Mobile has reported they will soon release the SoMo650, built with an antibacterial plastic, a material Samsung has been testing too. According to the manufacturer, the phone gives a long-term protection for the skin against microbes as they cannot spread on the special cover. It features an Intel PXA270 (624 MHz) processor, Windows Mobile 5.0, 3.5” QVGA display, WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM. The phone is coming out expectedly in September this year, but we don’t have a word on its price yet.
