Samsung i8510, announced yesterday, is the absolute most powerful multimedia handset on the European and American market, promising more than Sony Ericsson C905 that has the same camera and the Nokia Nseries N96 smartphone too. The multimedia monster, based on Symbian 9.3 Series 60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 (S60 3.2) has a 2.8" display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, capable of displaying 16 million colors, enhanced with a 3D accelerator chip, an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus that can record videos at up to 120 fps, a GPS receiver, HSDPA, WLAN and Bluetooth 2.0 support, 16 GB internal memory expandable via a microSDHC slot, stereo RDS FM radio, 3.5 mm jack connector, DivX player and 3D stereo speakers. The handset, coming next month, has no price revealed yet, but some sources are talking about a €780 EUR base price.
