If we're talking about heavy-duty, water-, dust- and shock-resistant phones, than Sonim XP3 Enduro is the de facto amongst standard phones. The previous one from the South-Korean manufacturer, B2700, somehow didn't seem such a massive piece of hardware, but the upcoming B2100 has managed to acquire the IP57 rating, just like Sonim's handset. This means that it has no problems for sitting for up to half an hour on the bottom of a meter of water or mud, but there is no information available regardind its shock-resistance. As for the technical specs, the phone is a typical entry-level handset, featuring a 1.77" display with a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and EDGE support. The handset, having only 10 MB of internal memory, will cost only 90 euros, even in spite of it's outstanding heavy-duty features.
