Phones that measure carbon dixoide level

Blue Telephony - which name might be familiar related to the previously announced Onyx - and CPS Group Italia have announced that they have started designing a phone that can measure and display carbon dioxide levels. The new kind of technology, which focus on the human being and health, have proved to attract many companies. Earlier Nokia has announced a concept bracelet called Eco, which had the air's complex analysis as one of its most important features, thanks to which its bearer could be warned in case of danger. CPS and Blue Telephony's new, sensor-based phone idea is also a first step in the protection of the human life. Later on there is an increasing number of sensors expected to be used, including pollen or UV sensors. It is not yet known when will such or similar devices get launched and is also not known how reliable are these sensors are in recognizing environmental hazards. Anyway it is a great sign that besides the lots of "useless" features there is a number of really useful ideas that might really get to be used in cell phones.
