Apple didn't have a really positive opinion about the rival Palm Pré being compatible with iTunes and so they have ended this by launching iTunes 8.2.1, which client software is compatible only with Apple products, at least in theory. The recently published webOS 1.1 firmware, besides speeding up contact list and other long lists' scrolling, it also fixes push email bugs, corrects the Gmail IMAP folder mix-up, has a new email tune, which is softer, but still cannot be replaced and offers faster application launches besides reactivating compatibility with the latest iTunes client software. The Apple-Palm cat and mouse game has officially started and it will probably continue - sooner or later - at a law court.
