There is no doubt that one of the greatest hits of 2007 was the Nokia N95, more then 7.000.000 pieces have been sold until now. Nokia N96 takes on the features of N95, packing them in an N81-like casing. In accordance with the previous specification sheet, the phone will have a 2.8" display at a resolution of 240x320 pixels, a 5 megapixel Carl-Zeiss camera, built-in GPS receiver, WLAN and HSDPA support along with a standard 3.5 mm headset, TV connector and 3D stereo speakers. One thing that wasn't clear until now is that the 16 GB internal memory can be expanded with a microSDHC card; the maximum available size in Nokia's offer is 8 GB. The handset is capable of recording DVD-quality videos (640x480 pixels, 30 fps). Nokia N96 will ship before September at an estimated price of 550€.
