The Finnish manufacturer didn't want to admit for a long time that the market of the United States is different from the one at home, as there are four large mobile phone operators there, who rule the market and if a product doesn't have direct access to their services, then it won't be sold by them, even if it's made by the largest handset manufacturer in the world. Nokia, refusing to develop unique models, accustomed to operator needs, has a poor performance on the American market, but the local leadership, preferring a stronger cooperation with the operators, seems to change this. Nokia 7205 Intrigue, annoucned by Nokia and Verizon Wireless, has been already featured on our site, but it has been officially announced only now. The clamshell, offering direct access to several Verizon services like the V CAST Music Rhapsody music store (offering five million tracks) and the Visual Voice Mail, features a hidden external display, a 2 megapixel camera with a LED flash, a microSD slot, a 240 x 320 pixels large display and a completely black or black-pink gradient keypad. Nokia 7205 Intrigue, available for 130 USD with a 2-year fidelty contract, is environment-friendly: it's small and made of fully recyclable materials.
