The launch of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is now in the hands of Nokia, as the American FCC has approved its launch. The first Series 60 Touch phone from the Finnish manufacturer will be available before the end of the year, according to the company's first statement, but a number of later news reports have included that it will currently be available only to some selected markets, availability in most of Europe is expected by the beginning of 2009. This also means that no exact launch date is known yet. It is sure, however, that the model on the FCC site is not made for the United States, or at least this is what the lack of SDPA 85/1900 network support means.
