Logitech announced its Pure-Fi Express Plus and Pure-Fi Anytime stereo handsfree speakers for the Apple iPod and iPhone. The specialty of the first is that the omnidirectional speakers fill out the space evenly, so music has the same clarity and volume in the whole room. Besides being a speaker, Pure-Fi Anytime has an alarm clock with a motion sensor, so it's enough to wave in front of the speaker in order to activate snooze. Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus and Pure-Fi Anytime are compatible with new and old Apple models too and they can even charge them. They can be used as speakers with other devices too, via the standard 3.5 mm sound input. The new Logitech accessories can run on 6 "AA" batteries, have a remote control, but their price and launch date are not yet known.
