LG is nowadays launching more and more cheap models besides the high-end phones. LG KP199 is no groundbreaking phone in terms of features. The VGA camera, 128 x 160 pixels large dsiplay, stereo FM radio, MP3 player, USB and Bluetooth support, 60 MB of internal memory and the microSD slot are in no way exceptional. The device, designated for the Ukrainian market, has its strength somewhere else: in the battery. According to the manufacturer, the handset provides not less then 36 days of standby or 10 hours of talk time, due to its unusually powerful, 1350 mAh battery. So the phone is primarily intended for those who don't like charging their phones on a daily basis, but long standby or talk time are important. It is not yet known where else will the handset be available officially besides Ukraine.
