LG is also working on an 8 megapixel phone

LG's increasingly aggressive price and product policy seems to bring about more and more results. They have recently taken over Japanese-Swedish Sony Ericsson, the reason being the more attractive and technically more advanced handsets. Although the first 8 megapixel phone for Europe has been announced by Sony Ericsson, it looks like LG is also heavily working on a similar model that also has Xenon flash, although it tries to be better than the Japanese-Swedish phone in many aspects. The handset that is expected in October under the name KC910 will probably have a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) tpuchscreen, which we could have only seen on Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 - besides Japan. The handset with a thickness of only 14 mm doesn't have a proproetary keyboard, bu the 720 x 480 pixels large DivX videos at 30 fps are very promising. There are no further details known as of now, but the LG wonder-phone will hopefully be seen on pictures too.
