LG: 8 megapixel phone at a lower price

LG uses a very interesting strategy to conquer megapixel fans. We have previously seen that after the high-end 5 megapixel LG Viewty has announced a more low-keyed, cheaper edition called KC550, which is a great alternative for those customers who are more price-sensitive. It looks like the recently announced 8 megapixel LG KC910 Renoir will also have a little brother and a cheaper variant is going to be launched by the name of KC780. There isn't much information available about the slider phone, but it's existence is sure, as it has appeared on the FCC site too. Based on this we can tell for sure that the phone has no 3G support, so it can use EDGE at most, it has 140 MB of internal memory, a microSD slot and its 8 megapixel camera has face recognition and can record videos at 30 fps.
