On August 22, the availability of iPhone 3G is being extended to another 20 countries, thus Apple's cheapest handset becoming available for purchase in a total of 45 countries. Here's the list of countries where iPhone 3G will surely be launched on the 22nd:
- Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru and Uruguay (Telefonica)
- Czech Republic (O2)
- Estonia (EMT)
- Philippine Islands (Globe Telecom)
