The Taiwanese company announceds its TouchFLO user interface first in HTC Touch. This model became one of the most successful HTC handsets ever, so it was obvius to continue the development. The TouchFLO skin is a big help for user who are not familiar with the Windows Mobile system, easy to use, looks great. TouchFLO 2.0 will have several improvements, now we only have two screenshots, but you can notice significant changes.
TouchFLO 2.0 will be even more intuitive than its predecessor and it could offer a "much richer user experience" compared to the standard Windows Mobile dashboard. As you can quite plainly see, these leaked screenshot feature a set of quick-access soft keys on the bottom, not unlike that found on the iPhone. The difference is that these soft buttons can apparently scroll on command.
We hope that we can examine the new system in Barcelona next week when Mobile World Congress opens. Nowadays HTC is one of the world's leading Windows Mobile based manufacturer, although there are romours about HTC planning to introduce Google Android based handsets as well.
