CeBIT: Gigabyte M700 and M704 - non-identical twins

Gigabyte tries to become a serious element on the market of UMPCs. Besides the M528, they have also announced two other, larger, UMPCs, the M700 and the M704.
The difference between them is quite evident: when sliding it, the M704 uncovers a full QWERTY keypad for text entry, while the M700 has to offer only a virtual keyboard, but in turn it has a more graceful design.

There are other differences between the two handhelds: although both have a VIA Esther ULV C7-M as a CPU, running at 1.2 GHz, but while the M704 has Windows XP Home, the M700's operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium. M704 has 768MB of memory and the M700 has 1GB.
There is no difference in means of display: both have a 7" diameter touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Both have a 40GB hard drive, the M704 reads SD cards, while the M700 supports microSD cards.

M704 has only a webcam, however its resolution is 1.3 megapixels and at the same time the M700 also has a 2 megapixel VGA camera with autofocus.
Both devices support Bluetooth 2.0, WLAN compatibility is also a common feature.
M704's size is 190 x 120.8 x 30.3 mm, has a 3900 mAh battery and weighs 780 grams, while the size of the M700 is 220 x 110 x 23 mm, it's battery's capacity is 2800 mAh and weighs only 650 grams.
