The device is a smartphone with less features, but with an exceptionally good keypad and it functions on GPRS and EDGE networks. The P527 based on WM6 has a 1300 mAh capacity battery, which provides up to 200 hours of talk time according to the manufacturer.
The system includes 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM, the latter can be expanded with a microSD card, and the device supports the SDHC standard too. The display has QVGA resolution and a diagonal of 2.6".
The P527 has WLAN and integrated SirfStar III GPS receiver, while its photographic features are provided by a 2 megapixel autofocus camera.
