Nokia Beta Labs has some interesting new app almost every week, which make the use of the Finnish manufacturer's handsets even more comfortable. Their latest application is called „Enhanced Calculator, as it is made to replace the bit uncomfortable basic calculator on Series 60 phones. The calculator is extended with scientific and precedence functions, it knows the most trigonometric functions and can help in calculating interests. The new software might come in handy for those too who are content with the basic calculator, but don't like to access this function from the menu, since with the new calculator these functions can be assigned to the directions of the navigation ring. The launch of the software might be a bit slower due to Java (it is the bit refined edition of the Java-based software from Series 40 models). It is also possible that the new Nokia smartphones will be coming with the new software, but until then anyone can download the beta application from this link.
