American AT&T Wireless has started the sales of Samsung Impression, featuring a 3.2", 240 x 400 pixels large AM-OLEd touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keyboard, at a subscription price of $200 dollars. The slider, having a closed operating system, sports a 3 megapixel camera, HSDPA support and a microSD card slot as well. Cheaper mobile phones with a sideway-sliding QWERTY keyboard are increasingly popular in the United States, but not that much in Europe, as this form factor is mostly used on more expensive business models.
