Samsung Guru100 uses Nokia's good old recipe, with the additional elegant model design of Samsung. The extremely cheap phone has a 128 x 128 pixel large cSTN display with 65.536 colors, which makes the handset capable of receiving MMS messages. The Guru100 comes with preinstalled MP3 ringtones, which can be expanded, contrary to other models of the same category. Another feature present on the phone, not specific of this category, is JAVA support and the 1000mAh battery, supplying power for 9 hours of talk time. In addition the device also features a phonebook with 500 entries, English and Hindi T9 dictionary, calculator, built-in handsfree and alarm clock. The only problem of the model with an exceptionally low price (33 €) is that it will be launched officially only in India.
