Qulacomm announced its new display inspired by nature. To create the Mirasol displays, they examined the reflection abilities of butterfly wings. The operation of the display is based on the changing of reflection abilities, it can be controlled at each pixels. This makes perfect legibility without any backlight. Mirasol displays are only able to appear black and green colours and higher energy is only required to change the contets like at the electronic paper, but here the keeping of the contets needs energy, too. The Mirasol displays are manufactured in three size: 1, 1,1 and 1,2 inches witch 128x96 pixels resolution. The devices are available and going to debut as the main display of the Hisense C108 device. The C108 is based on Qualcomm QCS6010 base with 8MB RAM and 32MB ROM.
