The quite basic Internet Explorer browser of Windows Mobile handsets is usually swapped out on mid- and high-end handset with Opera Mobile, which offers an easier and faster browsing experience. Opera Mobile 9.7, launched at this year's CTIA, doesn't only offer full Flash and Ajax support, as this is completed by support for Opera Turbo, which maintins high download speeds. It is not yet known if besides the one-time license fee there are additional costs for the client-server technology, or if the use of the servers will be free just like in the case of the Java-based Opera Mobile browser.
