According to the Czech Mobile Idnes Philips is about to launch a new clamshell phone, which, just like other member of the Xenium series, has a very long standby time. The clamshell, featuring 30 days of standby time and 7.5 hours of talk time, has much more advanced specs than its predecessors, as it sports a 2.4", 240 x 320 pixels large main display, a 2" secondary display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, an FM radio with RDS, stereo Bluetooth and 47 MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 8 GB, thanks to the microSDHC slot. The 103 x 54 x 15 mm large Philips Xenium X700, weighing 109.3 grams, supports GPRS and EDGE too, but its price and launch date have not yet been revealed yet.
