Philips X500: Two months standby

The Philips Xenium series has been extended with another cell phone providing an extremely long standby time. Xenium 500 - just like its predecessors - doesn't attract attention with multimedia features, but with its huge-capacity battery and standby time. The 105.5 x 42.4 x 17.9 mm large handset has a 1720 mAh battery which can be enough for 40 hours of music playback, 16 hours of talk or even 2 months of standby. Otherwise X500 doesn't have any outsanding features, it has a 1.8" 176 x 220 pixels large display and a 1.3 megapixel camera, a stereo FM radio with RDS and 10 MB of internal memory that can be expanded with a microSD card. Philips Xenium X500, providing tri-band GPRS and EDGE access is expected to not be available in this region.
