The Finnish manufacturer has officially unveiled its latest smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard, Nokia E71 Eseries communicator. The features of the candybar device have already been known, so practically the date of availability and the price are new. Nokia E71 is undoubtedly the successor of E61 and E61i, although the 2.36", 320 x 240 pixels large TFT display might be a disappointment for some of you. Unfortunately not just the display, but the keyboard has also been decreased in size, as the new device comes in a 114 x 57 x 10 mm case, weighing 127 grams. The 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera is a new feature, which even has a LED flash. The phone can record videos at 640 x 480 pixels, even though only at 22 fps speed. Along with the camera on the back, there is one on the front too, besides these there is a music player, stereo FM radio and a microSD slot. Another new feature is the built-in GPS receiver, which makes a fully functional navigation system with Nokia Maps. The Eseries smartphone has WLAN too, besides GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA (3G) and HSDPA support. The business phone also has Bluetooth support and an infrared port. Nokia E71 is primarily a business model, so it has an email client too, it handles Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint files. The 1500 mAh battery offers 10 and half hours of talk time, or up 18 hours of music playback. Nokie E71 is expected to become available in July at a net price of €350 EUR.
