By the new solution announced by the american NFK (National Federation of the Blind) and the K-NFB Reading Technology the Nokia N82 smartphone can help people not seeing the world around. The camera of the Nokia N82 can make good quality pictures, and the sofrware developed by the K-NFB recognises the texts on in immediately and reads it out for the user. Not only text, but boards, posts and bank-notes can be recognised by it, and it's able to read out captions displayed on the screen of the phone. Neither the phone, nor the software can be called cheap. The company plans announcing the full solution in february, but the price - which is 2100 dollars - can be retentiveness for a lot. The software itself will be available for 1595 dollars and the phone costs at about 500.
