Jabra announced a new headset, the BT4010, which is a Bluetooth headset with an integrated LCD display, what the company calls a Smart Display. The small LCD provides information on the headset’s battery charge level as well as connection and call status. The device uses e-SCO technology for enhanced sound quality. In addition, the BT4010 has an auto-pairing feature via its Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR specification. The headset’s battery life is rated at a maximum of six hours of talk time or 150 hours of standby, and comes with a micro USB charger connection that enables laptops or computers to power it. The BT4010’s weight of approximately 0.35 ounces is supported with a choice of two different sized ear hooks that can be detached. The BT4010 will be available this spring for nearly $60.
