E-TEN releases two new smartphones with QWERTY keyboards. The two models have almost the same specs, the only difference being that the bigger brother doesn't only support GPRS and EDGE, but UMTS (3G) and HSDPA networks too, so it can be used for video calls. Common features are the large, 2.8" display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, the slideable full QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth and WLAN support, built-in GPS and FM radio. Videos made with the 2M autofocus camera can be easily uplodaded to YouTube. The soul of these handsets is the Windows Mobile 6 operating system, which runs on a Samsung S3C 500 MHz CPU, which is accompanied by 64 MB RAM and 256 MB of ROM, that can be expanded with a microSD card. Accordind to E-TEN's press release, the models with a size of 109.5 x 59 x 17.5 mm, will be shipping in about two-three weeks at a yet unkown price.
