Spice Mobiles announced their gamer phone in India, which comes packed with pre-installed games and a separate game controller. The 2.4" TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and the sound made by the Yamaha amplifier will provide the appropriate gaming experience, while the games are Java-based. Spice X-1 is of course not gaming-only, as it can be used for music playback and as an FM radio too adn it can even record radio broadcasts. The microSd slot, the 2 megapixel camera, the GPRS and Bluetooth support are only enough for the mid-range, but the 112 x 50.5 x 15.3 mm large handset, weighing 109 grams doesn't seem very expensive at the price of $200 USD. The phone's 1050 mAh battery provides 3.5 hours of talk time or 130 hours of standby time. It is not yet known when and where will Spice Mobiles Spice X-1 will be available besides India.
