    "Xbox closing down various offices of studios is not surprising...they spent $70b, they have to make this work and all overhead is probably under very close review.
    Sucks for all involved, especially as the market has contracted in the gaming community :(
    I also would not be surprised if this isnt the last we hear of consolidation and slimming of the Xbox org, they have been spending big money for years buying up studios, if those teams are not producing - it's going to be rocky.

    Xbox has executed the first part of a major strategy shift "build up a huge content pipeline and become a tier 1 studio factory"
    They are now in stage 2 where all those assets they bought MUST start producing content to justify the investments of S1."
