Samsung has released a WiBro-communicator, the SWT-W100K, in Korea. Packed in a 15.7 mm thick case, it provides wireless Internet access at a speed up to 13 Mbps. It has a huge 4.3” WVGA touchscreen display and the company also draws out attention to T-DMB digital broadcasting support, a built-in GPS-receiver, 8 GB of internal memory, Bluetooth and USB, both being 2.0, a 2-megapixel and a VGA-camera. Its media player supports MP4, Xvid, WMA and H.264 video formats. The communicator is already available in Korean stores at a price of 500.000-600.000 Won, which is approx. $500-600. And what is WiBro anyway? It is a package of many applications, like broadband Internet access, home (or office) network access, online TV and radio or different navigation software.
