As we could have guessed the "01 Phone" was imaginary, in spite of the fact that there was a huge countdown on the website in order to stir up everyone's imagination. The laser keyboard, the 32 GB of internal memory or the 5 megapixel camera are of course not impossible technologically, but still, no handset is equipped with all of these. What was this whole campaign good for? The creators of the website would like to hand in a petition to Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, BlackBerry, Apple and other large mobile manufacturers, asking them to improve their phones faster and to create a really groundbreaking solution, using all available technology. This whole thing doesn't have much meaning as different users require different phones and the manufacturers launch long market researches in order to query user needs and to satisfy them. Of course there would be no problem creating such a "has-it-all" phone, using premium materials, but the size, weight and price of the end product would be so high that there would be no demand for it.
