Although according to preliminary information the Japanese-Swedish manufacturer launched Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 only in November, the handset has already appeared on eBay, where the bid is currently at $2000 USD, but looking around the site reveals cheaper offers too. It is not yet known where are the phones obtained from, but all sellers advertise the products as being original, so it cannot be that XPERIA comes much earlier than advertised. XPERIA X1, announced in February, is a milestone in the company's life, as this is their first handset based on Windows Mobile 6.1. The 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, aGPS, 7.2 megabit HSPA access, WLAN support, a 3" touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, QWERTY keyboard, 1500 mAh battery and 10 hours of talk time on a GSM network are all great things. We just have to hope that the manufacturer will launch their handset at a good price, as it has to face such competitors like HTC Touch Pro, which has already been launched.
