Nokia 6650 goes to America

Hirdetés

The world's largest mobile phone manufacturer is clearly Nokia, whose market share, even after a small decrease, is about 15 percent more than the total share of Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. In spite of this the manufacturer is barely present in the United States, Samsung, Motorola and LG clamshells sell good there. One of the main reasons for the difficulties is that the Finnish manufacturer didn't have clamshells for a long time, while these seem to have the highest sales on local markets and on the other hand Nokia wasn't willing to customize its phones according to the needs of network operators. Nokia 6650 has been originally made for European T-Mobile, but it's an important moment for the manufacturer that finally American AT&T has also included in their offer. The software, accustomed to the operator's needs, supports AT&T Video Share, AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Navigator. Nokia 6650, available since November 14, comes in silver and red, it's based on Symbian Series 60, and sports a 2.2", 240 x 320 screen, a 2 megapixel camera, HSDPA support and a GPS receiver. The full price of the handset, when signing a two-year contract, is $69.99 USD.
