Location-based services are becoming more and more important for the Finnish manufacturer, so it seems a logical step that the Nokia Maps navigation software is included in an increasing number of cheap phones, even though these don't feature a GPS receiver. Nokia 6303 Classic is exactly like this, as it can search on the free maps, but it cannot locate us or navigate without an external GPS receiver. The new, rounded phone has a 2.2", 240 x 320 pixels large display, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with double-LED flash, GPRS and EDGE support, a stereo Bluetooth module, a stereo RDS FM radio, a standard 3.5 mm headset jack and a 1,050 mAh battery that provides 7 hours of talk time. The 108.8 x 46.2 x 11.7 mmlarge Nokia 6303 Classic, weighing 96 grams, will be launched in Q2 2009 at a net price of 135 euros. The package will include a stereo headset, a 1 GB microSD memory card and a USB cable.
