It's no news that hardware manufacturers wander into the world of cell phones sometimes. ASUS has been present in this segment for a long time now, Gigabyte is also active (and so are we as we are already organizing a review) and there are some Toshiba handsets too. This is not the first time Lenovo creates something mobile, but this time they have tried to produce something great and the result is P990, which means the previous Sony Ericsson top seller for the European customers.
The price of the touchscreen handset that has Windows Mobile OS is not yet known. It has dual-band GSM support and no 3g. The screen's diagonal is 3", the resolution is 240 x 320 pixels. The phone has a microSD slot, a 2 megapixel camera and a SiRF Star III GPS receiver, while the CPU might be some new stuff as we are told that it has three cores. It is sure that once Lenovo starts selling these babies on our continent we'll be hunting one down for review.
