The speaker's volume can be set in ten steps using the keys on the exterior. iPower has a couple of LEDs too besides the keys, the first blinks rapidly when the battery's capacity falls below 10 percent. If charge level drops below 5 percent than the charging of the handset inside it stops automatically, but the speaker can work for another 7 hours.
