Jobb lesz, már az új beta 50-0817-es FW-ben is több újítás és javítás van, idézem:

The new, HDMI Input configuration setting in the 0817B Public Beta firmware provides a workaround for devices that simply can't handshake properly when fed the full list of what the HDMI Input can accept for audio and video formats.

The new HDMI specs (as, for example, in the HDMI Input of the OPPO) are supposed to be backwards compatible with older HDMI hardware (as possibly found in Source devices feeding that Input). But that assumes the older HDMI hardware was programmed correctly to begin with! Many are not. HDMI.ORG loves making blithe assumptions like this....

So this has nothing to do with the bandwidth of the signal. For example, the Color Depth choice. But rather whether the Source device can negotiate the HDMI handshake AT ALL.

As was the case in the past, many of the offenders here will be Cable TV and Satellite TV boxes.

Keep in mind the Source device also has to do Repeater Processing when negotiating the handshake *THROUGH* the OPPO. So a Source, such as a Cable TV box, that might work when directly connected to a new, UHD TV, may still fail when trying to establish the handshake through the OPPO -- basically because the Source doesn't handle the newfangled options properly when combined with Repeater Processing.
