  What is Near Field Communication (NFC)?
  NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range wireless technology that lets you quickly exchange information between your phone and other NFC-enabled smartphones, smart accessories, and smart posters. You can also use NFC technology to save, view, create, or change information on NFC tags.

  How do I use it?
  Make sure NFC is turned ON by going to Settings > More > and check the NFC box.

  To communicate with a NFC-enabled smart accessory or smart poster bring the back of your phone approximately within 2 cm of the smart accessory or smart poster that you want to exchange information with.

  To exchange information between 2 NFC enabled Smartphones, make sure Android Beam™ is turned ON by going to Settings > More > Android Beam and confirming Android Beam is ON

  Open the Application, Contact, Web link, Map information or YouTube video you want to share.

  Bring the 2 NFC enabled Smartphones next to each other (back-back) and when you hear a sound and both devices vibrate slightly, tap on the content you want to share.

  How safe is it?
  NFC is a short range technology. In order to snag your NFC signal, an eavesdropper would need to be uncomfortably close to you.

  Even when NFC is turned ON, it will automatically be unusable either when your phone display is OFF or when your phone screen is locked (Depending on the type of mobile wallet app. you might still be able to use the wallet app when the phone screen is locked provided the display is turned ON, however you will still need to enter the mobile wallet PIN code for enabling the wallet app.)

  You always have the ability to turn NFC OFF when you are not using it by unchecking the NFC box. However when using NFC make sure you are exchanging information with others you know and trust.
