Xperia L Vs Xperia U Vs Xperia P
Put against some of Sony’s former devices, the Xperia L is better in many key aspects. In fact, it meets with the non-expandable internal memory issue of the Xperia U. Beyond the built-in 8GB, you can expand its storage capacity further by using external memory cards in a microSD slot. Regarding the processor, the U has a NovaThor U8500 chipset, which is replaced by a Qualcomm MSM8230 chipset on the Xperia L.

The Xperia P also lacks the option for memory expansion. The new phone has a more capable camera than that of the Xperia P, which also packs a NovaThor U8500 processor. The new Sony phone also comes out of cover with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it may also support the next major update, the Android 4.2.2 JB. Thus, in short, the Xperia L does well against both the Xperia U and Xperia P and it is a worthy upgrade for the users of those Xperia devices.

“The stylish and functional Xperia L features an 8 megapixel camera with Sony’s unique ‘Exmor RS for mobile’ sensor technology for vivid colors and stunning clarity. HDR (High Dynamic Range) ensures that both your photos and videos are captured clearly, even at night or against a strong backlight,” says Sony. Of course, Sony shows off the device as an amazing cameraphone for the price of a midrange one.

The Japan tech giant has rolled out the device along with yet another nice phone the Xperia SP. Both the devices are meant for customers who are “seeking stylish class-leading smartphones that don’t compromise on features,” says Calum MacDougall of Sony. The SP is a 4.6-inch super-bright 720p HD Reality display and a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960Pro dual core processor under the cover. It also carries the same camera potentials of the Xperia L.
