Velocity Mobile 111, announced at CTIA Wireless 2008, has finally received FCC approval, so it can soon be launched. The handset, based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, sports a 2.46", 320 x 240 display, a 2 megapixel camera, GPS and WLAN, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM and a microSD slot. The handset, originally planned for Q3 2008, has no launch date or price specified.
