Sony Ericsson has announced today the latest member of its "T" series, whose metal casing covers a bit large, but cheap phone. The T303, just as the new naming scheme suggests, is an entry-level model (3xx), while the last 3 in its name refers to its slide form factor. It's clearly visible on the photos, that no matter the metallic elegance, the display is too small. Its a TFT with a diagonal of 1.8", has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and can display 65.536 colors. There is the new type of key layout present under the screen: there is an "accept" and a "reject" button and a "c" key that has delete/erase function. The device is possibly built on the latest A200 platform. The back of the handset is decorated with a 1.3 megapixel camera, which nowadays is only enough for low category phones, but under this there is a huge lump, which is really a drawback from the point of view of both design and comfort. The Sony Ericsson T303 has an FM radio too, which can easily identify tracks with the TrackID feature, but this needs GPRS connection. The 8MB internal memory is only enough for storing MP3 ringtones, even in spite of the presence of the music player. The device with a size of 83 x 47 x 14.7 mm weighs 93 grams, has a talk time of 9 hours and will be available in silver and black colors, expectedly before June, but its price is not yet known.
